Day 1
Your safari begins with a drive from Arusha to Tarangire National Park, known for its large populations of elephants and ancient baobab trees. The park's landscape is a mix of savannah, seasonal swamps, and the Tarangire River, which attracts wildlife year-round. On this day, you’ll experience your first game drive, spotting elephants, zebras, wildebeest, giraffes, and more. Keep an eye out for lions and leopards hiding in the trees, as Tarangire is also home to a wide variety of predators.
After a full day of exploration, you'll head to your comfortable lodge within or near the park to relax and enjoy a serene evening.
Overnight: Tarangire Lodge

Day 2
After breakfast, leave Tarangire behind and travel toward the Serengeti National Park, one of the most famous wildlife reserves in the world. On the way, you’ll pass through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area with its picturesque highlands. Upon reaching the Serengeti, the vast open plains stretch out before you. Serengeti is renowned for its annual Great Migration of wildebeest and zebra (depending on the season), and for its large populations of predators, such as lions, cheetahs, and leopards.
You'll have a game drive en route to your lodge, where you'll spend the night after a day of wildlife viewing.
